Abstract

Algorithms of integrating conversion in the relative time interval today are not widely used in precision measuring systems. Because these algorithms have a long transition process and systematic error of edge effects. Known methods for reducing this error significantly increases the performance requirements applicable electronic elements, and therefore the production technology. With the elimination of these drawbacks ADC based on these algorithms can compete with the ΣΔ-ADC. This paper proposes a solution to the problem consists in the process of formation of the threshold voltages on the basis of a rough measurement of the input voltage directly to the conversion process.

Key words

analog-to-digital converters integrating type;error of edge effects; methodological ADC errors; improving the accuracy of ADC; transient processes in integrating converters.
